This decorative tin once held a black & red silk typewriter ribbon made in the U.S.A. by Codo Manufacturing Corporation, a leader in imaging products since 1928. Prior to World War II, the top-of the line typewriter ribbons were made from silk, which dates this tin to circa 1930s or earlier.
The small round tin has a vivid orange, black, gold lithograph with a butterfly and stylized trees. The vintage tin is in good condition showing light wear consistent with age and use.
