This lovely bell is made of bone china. This piece is stamped on the interior as being made by Hammersley in England, see pictures, and this piece was made in 1973 for the Sounds of Liberty collection as a commemorative piece for the 200th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party. The bell features an image of one side of The Boston Tea Party and an image of Sam Adams in Boston on the other side, with the date "1773-1973" on either side; there is text on the interior of the bell that provides a description of each image. The clapper of the bell is intact.
The Measurements: height=6 3/4" diameter=3 3/4" approx.
