The sale raised over six million GBP. Chatsworth is the famous home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire since 1549. The case has later gilt handles and a much later iron stand. Finished on the top and four sides this case could be used as a wonderful side table or coffee table. We particularly like the rich golden tones of the box. See less
