This nautical picture shows a small group of sailors leaving a dock on a crisp, early morning in a sale boat. The graceful lines of the sail and outlined Charcoal grey figures draws the viewers attention to the boat rather than the people. The title of “Safe Returns” is the sentiment of all travelers and in particular Sailors who battle the elements on their own. The Blue, Green and Icy White colors elicit a sense of calm and chilliness on this particular day. This handsome piece is professionally framed and mounted in a vintage wood frame in coordinating colors. In excellent condition with light signs of age related wear. Frame 20.5”x 22”x 2”, Artwork 14”x 12”. See less
