Circa Mid 19th Century. LARGE SIZE - Measuring Approx. 15 Inches Long. They are Completely Hand Made with a Very Unusual Bolt & Screw Adjustment ? Connector Assembly Design. They Have No Maker Mark that I Can Find but in My Considered Opinion They are American in Origin. NOTE That They Can be Displayed on a Flat Surface in 3 Different Ways - Lying Flat - Free Standing Vertically or Free Standing at a Angle - Slant. They were Designed to be Placed on a Table Standing Vertically While in Use so that They Would Be Easy to Grab - Pick Up buy the User. They are in Very Nice All Original Condition and they Display Beautifully. They have Been Used for Many Years and have Acquired a Wonderful Naturally Aged Color & Patina that Cannot be Duplicated.
