Antique Serving bowl set- Master serving bowl and 4 matching individual bowls.
Opalescent shimmering glaze with pink rose floral transfer ware. More kiln firings needed with this decorative style. Sea life shaped in style of clams. Scalloped edges with turned scroll handles.
Beautiful matching antique set in better than expected condition-excellent.
Mark: Silesian Porcelain Teifenfurth, Germany. 1891-1916
No chips or cracks. Gilding and painting in excellent condition with some gilding wear on large bowl near scroll turned handle likely from use-hand holding.
The opalescent glaze stop around the backside of turned scrolled handle-see last photo. This is how it was designed.
