This elegant French Art Deco set of twelve knife rests, or chopstick rests is made of aluminum and Macassar wood. The modernist shape displays a waved metal flat stick bar and geometric carved wood sides. There is no visible maker's mark and the set is still in its original gift box.
Good condition, with the storage gift box showing used condition.
Measurements (for one): 3.38 in wide (8.5 cm) x 1 in deep (2.5 cm) x 0.63 in high (1.5 cm).
Gift box: 9.88 in wide (25 cm) x 7.88 in deep (20 cm) x 2 in high (5 cm).
Note: The silver-plate cutlery and Bakelite chopsticks are not included in the sale.
