This stunning Art Deco centerpiece, decorative bowl, or serving fruit or bread basket exudes a lot of presence and elegance. The rare piece was crafted in France circa 1930. The varnished wood base has an outstanding heart-shaped carved design on the sides. Two transparent, shaped glass panels complete the design. Each glass panel can be removed from the wood base for cleaning purposes. This typical Art Deco minimalist design is reminiscent of the great French designers of the period, like Ruhlmann's works. There is no visible designer's mark.
Dimensions: 18.94 in wide (48 cm) by 5.94 in deep (15 cm) by 4.32 in high (11 cm).
