French Walnut Fold-Over Game Table, circa 1920.
Versatile and functional, this walnut game table features a hinged top that easily lifts on one side and pivots to open or folds to close. The table offers storage for your favorite games in the scalloped, rectangular base below the top. When open, the table showcases a square green felt playing board with a scalloped edge. An elegant reeded, spiral turned pedestal, raised on cabriole legs with carved acanthus leaves at the knees supports the table. The legs terminate in whorl feet.
