The dresser is hand painted on top with an idyllic oval scene of four mallard ducks landing on a lake with cattails beneath a fair weather sky. Fluted columns at each side, topped with simply carved capitals, flank three dovetailed drawers that open with mushroom knob handles. The piece is raised up on four turnip feet.
