It has a rectangular form with brass tipped teak wood handles. The body is decorated fused glass. the bottom glass half is a pebble textured gold leafed piece and fused upon it is a clear piece decorated with gold centered white lines, a centerpiece of a bundle of grapes and bordered with a vine of leaves and dancing fruit.

It measures 13.75" x 6.5" x 2". it is signed "Marcel Guval" in gold leaf along a white column on the bottom right side.

The overall effect is both "Hollywood Regency and decidedly Mid Century Modern. The Item is in excellent vintage condition.
