a functional design on a simple principle. A back and a seat cushion are mounted as visible pillows in a metal frame. The frame is made of a piece of aluminum and painted white. This materiality only enables the continuous shape of the frame, which depicts the armrests from the seat and finally the backrest. The contrast of the thick pads to the fine frame is striking. The cushions "swell" beyond the frame. Seat and back cushions are separated by a gap. The black upholstery fabric consists of a coarse hopsak.
