A visually striking vintage French Louis XV style hand painted cerused oak petite bombé chest of drawers (nightstand - small commode dresser - chair side cabinet - end table - hall console) with beautiful intentionally distressed antiqued finish!
Cafted in France in the late 20th century, exceptionally executed in luxurious 18th century King Louis 15th taste, the contemporary antique reproduction features a serpentine shaped faux marble wooden top with molded edge, atop curvacious highly desirable cerused oak (pickled / limed) solid wood bombay case fitted with two drawers, each affixed with ring pull handles, flanked by contrasting sharp and curvliener lines highlighted by the striking raised textured grain patterns cerused oak is best known for, undulating scalloped apron, rising on gently curved squared transitional cabriole legs.
Featuring the original intentionally worn cream white chalk paint finish and most charming chalky faded orangish salmon colored pointed star motif to the drawer-fronts.
