Cast in the … Read more Fine cast French bronze Chinoiserie garnitures in the form of incense burners with highly stylized ventilation mounts. Cast in the form of elephant head legs with a Chinese fret dome flanked by Chinese scrolling handles. The top is formed by four lion-headed legs and a wonderful scrolling cloud pattern ending in bronze flames. Four-sided tower with two fret styles. The whole is heavily ornamented in tapestry and tasseled details. Heavily pierced surfaces. great quality bronze. The size is 9" by 9" and 21" tall. Traces of gilt on both. circa 1850s'.
