The chair has its original gray painted finish and is carved so crisply as to defy the imagination. This is a killer chair. The frame is in good antique condition with normal distressing to the finish and the upholstery is in good condition. but as its a used chair, expect some imperfections. The chair looks exactly like a Maison Jansen chair we had before that was signed. This is not signed. The chair measures 41.75 tall x 26.25 wide x 28.5 deep and the seat height is 19.5 inches.
