Rare Porcelain Character Jug of 'The Highway Man' by Lancasters Ltd, Hanley England. Stamped at base. Circa 1938 to 1944. The letter 'A' indicates that this ware was made under the provisions of the 'Wartime Concentration Scheme' 1942.
This fine example came from a private California estate, where the gentleman had collected nearly fifty English porcelain jugs, that span over three decades, and now available in our store on Chairish!
