This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful & Very Good Quality Authentic Antique Traditional English Biscuit Jar or as we Say … Read more This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful & Very Good Quality Authentic Antique Traditional English Biscuit Jar or as we Say Cookies. Circa Very Late 19th Century. This Piece is Completely Hand Made. The Custom Made Hand Blown Crystal Insert - Jar has All Hand Cut - Ground and Polished Decorated Features. The Base is Signed HA EA FA and I was Able to Document the Maker to be The Atkin Brothers Silversmiths in Sheffield England - This Being The Mark that they Used From 1853 to 1925. It is Also Marked E.P.N.S ( Electro Plated Nickel Silver ). Note that Nickel Silver is a Very Durable Hard and Heavy White Metal that was Only Used by the Best Producers of Silver Plate Items. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition - No Damage - No Repairs - Perfectly Usable. It is Very Lightly Tarnished but Note that The Silver Plated Finish is in Excellent Condition, No Excessive Wear and it with Polish Easily and Beautifully.
It Measures Overall Approx. ( Jar Only - Handle Not Included ) 7 inches Tall - 8 inches Tall With the Handle in The Upright Position.
It is x 6 1/4 inches Long x 5 5/8 inches Wide.

The Cut Crystal Features have a Wonderful Clear Color & Sparkle in the Light - It is Much Prettier in Life than my Photographs can Capture.

THIS PIECE MUST BE HAND WASHED IN WARM WATER ONLY.
DO NOT PUT IN A AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER AT THE RISK OF DAMAGE - EXTREME HEAT COULD CAUSE INTERNAL CRACKS TO THE CRYSTAL.
