This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Looking Antique American Victorian Folk Art Fireside Stool - Footstool. Circa Late 19th Century. It is Completely Hand Made out of Solid Hardwood - Possibly Alder or Beech. It Still Retains its Original Hand Oil Painted - Decorated Features that includes a Sprig of Flowers - Pin Striping Etc. The Top has Exposed Wedge Tightened Leg Attachment Joints. I purchased this piece on on of my recent Picking Adventures in the Pennsylvania Lancaster Valley. It is in Very Good Cosmetic and Strong - Sound Functional Condition. It Displays Very Nicely with that Wonderful Authentic Age and Use Look that Cannot be Duplicated. The Paint on the Top Has a Very Old Round Heat Ring Imperfection.
It Measures Overall Approx. 8 3/4 inches Tall x 13 inches Long x 7 3/8 inches Wide.
