This antique 19th-century American-made iron and brass bed frame has a tall headboard, and a see-through crown casting, and is … Read more This antique 19th-century American-made iron and brass bed frame has a tall headboard, and a see-through crown casting, and is extremely detailed denoting an elite foundry of the early 1800s. The top and bottom are not traditional straight-across tubing, but instead, have a unique curve into the side castings. This bed frame has interior spokes measuring 3/8 inch which gives the bed structural stability. The interior design is referred to as a "Bell" design because of the tubing that curves around the center brass spoke. This bed frame is really special! The bed is complete with original side rails.
