This antique ophthalmometer is made out of cast iron and brass, and it is in good condition. This machine was made by General Optical Company and it is called the "Universal Ophthalmometer", it was used to preform eye exams and it is marked as having been patented on October 24, 1911. The piece is wired and it can plug into an outlet; the light does work, see pictures.
The measurements are: height=18.75" width=25" base depth=14" approx.
