It is still used in China today and this wheel, made from beech wood, is a relic of the province of Zhejiang in southern China, estimated to be created c. 1860. The wheel still turns and is removable, with sections of the wheel featuring beautiful carvings. A great accent piece, it could be used as a home decor item or as a base for pot plants in a conservatory. See less
