Vintage; C.1970's Italian brass and copper, antler heads, handled ice bucket, and/or Wine or Champagne bucket, with recessed base platform, … Read more Vintage; C.1970's Italian brass and copper, antler heads, handled ice bucket, and/or Wine or Champagne bucket, with recessed base platform, and counter balanced with an inclusive, permitter top edge lip surround, honed in copper. ALSO the deer antler head handles are copper with an overlay of brass, peeking thru here and there, given the age and year of manufacture. In Europe much of the brass has over lain prescious metal on some pieces, given the hand-honed metalsmith purveyors worked in an array of metals given the design of bass/silver/sterling/copper bronze and copper decorative pieces. The piece has been professionally poised and lacquer sealed. There is a human flaw to one side perimeter edge top surround right below edging and near one of the antler heads, as the close-up image we indicate,, the previous owner put a couple dents to it. Easy peasy, just switch sides, all else look fabulously perfect.
