Beautiful blue and white jasperware with traditional sacrifice motif. Measuring 4” tall and 3.5” wide. Very striking accent piece for tabletop or accent decor. Discontinued pattern from 1960s.
A classic Wedgwood matte blue Jasperware flared posy vase. The minimalist design is given impact by the dramatic contrast of white bas-relief neoclassical cameos on Wedgwood pale blue Jasperware. Decorated with the popular Sacrifice to Love series, inspired by a 19th century Wedgwood design by Lady Elizabeth Templeton. The celebration of maternal affection features a landscape setting with a woman and child skipping along and Flora the goddess of flowers accompanied by a winged cherub.
