The chair itself was designed … Read more Rare Lounge Chairs designed by Tjerk Reijenga and Friso Kramer for Pilastro in the 1960s. The chair itself was designed by Tjerk Teijenga for Pilastro in 1965 and the seating part was designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel in 1959. The chairs have a metal frame, Formica Armrests and red fabric which needs to be reupholstered. The metal frames of both chairs show overall wear like rust and scratches. Considered the upholstery and condition, we believe that they are in original condition and might even be one of the earliest pieces that were produced. Most likely it is stamped, marked underneath the fabric, into the metal frame. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
