This Rookwood pottery vase is a 'production' piece. These were what the pottery made after the late 20s when they stopped making hand painted pieces. Shape #2884 is impressed with a geometric pattern which may be a native American design. The pottery made extensive use of native american imagery. It is covered with a runny coral pink mat glaze. It is clearly marked on the bottom with the Rookwood logo, the date and shape. It is 6 inches tall and about 3 inches in diameter at the widest area. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, repairs or crazing.
