This fabulous duo of handwoven rattan catchall baskets are perfectly sized to hold just about anything that needs to be tucked away, or to serve as a cute pair of “shadowbox” wall décor pieces on a narrow feature wall filled with small objets d’art. Sturdy rattan reeds form the frame, while rattan weavers make up the balance of the baskets. Handwoven in an over and under pattern on the sides with a herringbone pattern on the bottom. Each basket measures
5¾” x 5¾” x 3¾” W/D/H; interior 5½” x 5½” x 3” W/D/H; together the pair weighs 6 oz.; color is a rich sienna brown with a lacquer finish. Maker unknown; country of origin Indonesia. In excellent condition with minimal, if any wear. The juxtaposition of the two types of weave techniques and rich color adds a great deal of visual and textural interest that will complement most any decor style in your home.
