Believe it or not, the Lucas + McKearn lighting brand was an idea born out of a conversation in taxi cab in Dallas. It all started when Joe McKearn, owner of New Orleans-based Flambeau Lighting, met Jonathan and Deborah Lucas, the husband-and-wife team behind Elstead Lighting in the UK, and decided to combine forces. Now in its fifth year, the combined Lucas + McKearn brand offers a full range of traditional and transitional fixtures as well as modern collections that deliver a personal, contemporary feel.
