![Mandell and her client chose a custom Ofuro soaking tub from Zen Bathworks to elevate the fresh design of the master bath; Japanese-style Ofuro tubs are deep enough to sit upright in and are crafted from fragrant wood; in this case, the designer and her client selected a traditional Hinoki wood. "The light wood tub looks stunning against the marble in the bathroom, and now [the client] can enjoy a steaming bath after a long day," says Mandell.
