Have you heard the news? Chairish gift cards are here! To celebrate the dawning of a whole new way to shop on Chairish, we asked three tastemakers: Justina Blakeney, Orlando Soria, and Betsy Burnham to tell us what they would buy if we handed them a locked and loaded Chairish gift card. Being the trendsetters they are, these three designers selected a slew of stylish items to gift to family, friends, and themselves! Below, see what items the designers picked and learn more about their holiday plans!

Who was on your gift list?
I’m shopping for myself! I’m getting this Berber door because I think it would be a magical way to add a surprising detail in our home. It’s gorgeous, and they are not easy to find. As for the sun statue, I collect sun face images and artwork. I actually have one of these Paul Bellardo sun faces in brass, but I’d love to have this plaster one for my garden.

What’s on your wish list this year?
I never really have stuff on my ‘wish list.’ For me, it’s about the feeling of surprise and delight. We are, however, gearing up to completely redo our backyard, so I am keeping an eye out for special pieces for the garden.

What’s the best holiday gift you’ve ever received?
A trip to Istanbul.

Why is a Chairish gift card the perfect gift?
I love how easy it is to stumble across so many unique, inspiring pieces on Chairish. It’s like going to my favorite flea market, but I don’t have to leave my bed.

I’m shopping for my own home, for my parents and for my siblings. I love giving furnishings and decor to family. My mom spent her childhood in Japan, so I found a really beautiful antique tansu. I’ve been slowly decorating my parents’ house over the past few years, and the tansu will add such warmth to that space.

What’s on your wish list this year?
I’m always looking for unique objects and pretty smalls that I can use for styling photo shoots, so I have my eye out for those. I’m also looking for anything that has some wear on it to add some warmth to my recently-furnished L.A. apartment. I want it to feel more eclectic and warm, less “EVERYTHING IS BRAND NEW!”

What’s the best holiday gift you’ve ever received?
I got a crazy building set when I was little that I’ll never forget. It was super simple and allowed you to make your own cars, and boats, and other things that moved. It was super creative, but simple enough for someone who hates technical stuff to have fun with.

Why is a Chairish gift card the perfect gift?
Chairish makes it possible for people all over to find vintage pieces to add to their homes. I live in an area that has AMAZING flea markets, but not everyone does. So, it’s great that you can just look online and be connected with people who are selling beautiful things and have those things delivered straight to your door. Also, even if you do live near good flea markets sometimes it’s annoying to schlep all over them looking for stuff. The convenience of being able to do that from home is not lost on me.

Who was on your gift list?
I decided to shop for my family. Each one of us has a distinct point of view, so it’s a fun group to buy for. I love to buy art and collectible items that my people would never buy for themselves.

My husband is a TV producer who’s a lifelong movie lover.  So I think he’d love the French Woody Allen “Sleeper” Poster.  The movie’s early and a bit obscure. The graphic is great, and it’s definitely got a sense of humor.

Carson, my daughter, is starting to collect furniture. Her usual vibe goes more toward Marie Antoinette, but since she’s working as a makeup artist for Chanel, I thought there is something very Coco about the blush velvet chair.

My son Will is a college student with a cool sense of style, and he has always appreciated a clean graphic. The Black and White Roy Ahlgren Serigraph is perfect.

While I was looking, I found the Warhol Lithograph that I liked so much, I couldn’t wait until Christmas—I bought it!

Finally, I love the Trans Pecos Quilt for the house—I think it’s a wonderful combination of old school charm with a modern design and palette.

What’s on your wish list this year?
Travel. We’re going to Peru to do yoga next September and are trying to organize an extended family trip—hopefully somewhere exotic—for June.

What’s the best holiday gift you’ve ever received?
God, it sounds corny but one year my husband actually bought me a car. It was parked in the driveway with a huge bow on top—the whole scene couldn’t have been more Hollywood. I loved the absolute surprise of it, because I really had no idea. I usually know everything that goes on at home! That, combined with the ridiculous extravagance of the whole thing. The post script of this story, which Mark loves to tell, and is completely embarrassing, is that I actually exchanged the car because I didn’t love the color—once a control freak, always a control freak.

Why is a Chairish gift card the perfect gift?
Because the assortment of vintage is consistently unique and inspiring. Prices are always reasonable, shipping costs are given right up front. Clients love it, too.
