I am a self-taught glass engraver, using a flex shaft drill with diamond points for cutting and rubber bonded abrasives and polishing compound for polishing and shading. I went to school for natural science illustration and have combined my love of drawing plants and animals with my love of hand engraving glass. I especially like making bigger functional pieces, like tables and sinks and wall hangings, but-any non tempered piece of glass is fair game for my tools.
