Based in Portland, Oregon and New York City, Tow Studios was founded in 1995 by Peter Tow.
Tow Studios, with its team of experienced and talented individuals, specializes in high-end architectural and interior design in the United States, Europe and Asia. Peter Tow earned a Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and interned at renowned and established architectural firms such as "Pei, Freed and Cobb Architects" and "Platt Byard Dovell White Architects". Having grown up in Singapore before his relocation to the United States, Peter Tow's unique perspective of and sensitivity to the Eastern culture complements his Ivy League education and training to provide a distinctive approach to his work.
The Firm has won numerous awards including the 2008 Restoration Award from the "Friends of the Upper Eastside historic district", First prize in the International Store Planners/Visual Merchandising and Store Design competition and numerous Sub/Zero Wolf Kitchen Design Awards. Peter Tow has also made several national TV appearances for "HGTV" and his work has been published in numerous periodicals including "NewYork Magazine" and "Interior Design" and publications such as "Minimalist Lofts", "Lofts, New Design for Urban Living" and "The New Apartment".
Past clients have included contemporary artist, Brice Marden, Academy Award winning composer, Tan Dun, Reebok International, The Loews Hotel Chain, Phillips De Pury and Company and the Vilcek Foundation.
