I love everything vintage and antique. I remember growing up in an NYC apartment in the projects and all the (now) vintage pieces my mother collected over the years were all around me. I loved being surrounded by her things and remembering to this day what we had and where it was placed. I used to decorate and rearrange our living room at a very young age.

"The Vintage Parlor" got its name because that's what the living room was called. My parents used the term "parlor", and pronounced it "Parla" with a NY accent.
