Spending the majority of my career as an independent artist, I realized that I had much more to share...thus | THE MODERN GENERALIST | is a personal evolution...a love child of sorts. It satisfies the many facets of my interests and creativity.

My esthetic attraction to Mid Century Modern furniture and architecture quickly turned my passion for all things vintage into a full time gig. My hobbies of upholstery and woodworking morphed...allowing me not only the ability to procure, but to deconstruct and lovingly restore pieces to their former glory.

The brand is home to regionally sourced and carefully curated vintage furniture and decor. I travel the southern states to find, dig up, and dust off unique time capsules of design's past. I might even add some original artwork here and there, as well as hand made and upholstered items which I am designing in my New Orleans studio located at 4910 Banks Street. Feel free to look me up on Instagram @themoderngeneralist or email me at hello@themoderngeneralist.co for inquiries or to keep up to date with my original bespoke furniture items.

I like to say that I don't know everything about anything but I know a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff...and vintage is my drug of choice any day!
