I'm a retired Fabric Designer for the Home Furnishings Industry. Spent my entire 30 year Career in Fabric Design and dealt with manufacturing mills of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. Since I was in that furniture Industry, I know quality fabrics and furniture when I see it. I attended High Point Furniture Market regularly twice a year, along with the Dallas Furniture Mart, San Francisco Mart, Atlanta Mart, Tupelo Mart, Hiemtextil Expo in Frankfurt, Germany and the Paris Textile Show at the Grande Palais. I did those trips every year.
When I went to purchase my Sofa, I only wanted the quality of an 8-way hand tied spring unit, since I knew it would last. Now my husband is of 80 yrs. old now and has requested he have a Recliner for both of us instead, I've decided, he should have what he wants at this tender age of 80. We've been married 40 years, I've always gotten my way with our choice of furnishings, but now he needs his choice. I hope this helps to understand , the Why we are selling it. It's a wonderful piece of furniture and whoever brings it into their home, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
