Stripe opened its gallery doors in May 2005 as one of the pioneers on Miami's now-famous “20th Century Row". Located on 125th Street across from the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Stripe Vintage Modern is a destination for many of the world’s most curious and sophisticated collectors, decorators and designers.

Proprietors Eric Cody and Arel Ramos are acclaimed for their covetable collections of vintage Mid-Century Modern furniture, lighting, art, and ceramics, which showcase both American and European pieces. Representing a signature “Transatlantic” style, featured designers range from Paul McCobb, Tommi Parzinger, Edward Wormley, and Piero Fornasetti to Karl Springer, Aldo Tura, and T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings.

Starting with their fondness for soft neutral colors, the two retail and fashion veterans combine rich materials like shagreen, parchment, bone, and bleached woods with natural fabrics of silk, linen, and mohair to create a soothing and sophisticated store environment they’ve coined “beach-chic”. Response to their styling has resulted in both Cody and Ramos being enlisted to create equally captivating interiors for a growing number of their store clients
