Stephanie Cate artist statement
"The journey of painting fascinates me, so although I begin each piece with a certain mood I always let the work take on a life of its' own and direct me. My aim is for the viewer to make their own personal discoveries within the atmospheric landscape that emerges."
Stephanie Cate is a California abstract painter. She holds a BFA in painting from from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston. Her bold abstract works are part of several private collections throughout the US and Europe, including the American Embassy in Athens, Greece.
