Amy and her husband, David Turpin, recently returned to David’s hometown of Oklahoma City after careers in Chicago and a brief period in Florida. Together they founded soda DNA, a multidisciplinary studio creating custom textiles, porcelain works, digital imagery, and site-specific installations. David’s background as a texture and digital image artist includes work for clients such as Rolling Stone, DownBeat, MSN, and numerous design firms.
Their collaborative projects include a commissioned outdoor artwork for the Northwood Creative Neighborhood in West Palm Beach, a mixed-media donor wall for Fernwood Botanical Garden in Michigan, and a series of art collectibles for Airstream Brands. Most recently, the duo completed commissioned porcelain and metal installations for Pamela Harvey Interiors, which debuted at the Aspire Showhouse in McLean, Virginia. Their work continues to explore the intersection of art, craft, design, and storytelling through both functional objects and immersive environments.
Current projects include work in porcelain, digital and hand painted murals for designers in Chicago, Virginia and Florida. Our mural and custom wallpaper were featured in an article for Luxe Magazine featuring the work of Pamela Harvey Interiors.
