Sara Kraus (b. 1988) is a contemporary artist based in Portland, Oregon. After graduating from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California with a degree in photography, she spent over a decade working in branding and marketing before transitioning her focus to fine art in 2015.

Her work is abstract and enigmatic - an allegory of emotion and atmosphere - and she approaches each piece intuitively, generally working in the dark colors evocative of the rainy Pacific Northwest she calls home.

Her work can be found in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
