I create contemporary paintings and drawings using traditional methods and materials. I often think of myself as a documentary painter. I try to be as truthful to a scene or person as I can because I believe as Keats says, "Beauty is truth, truth beauty". Each piece is created with the model or landscape in front of me and each piece is designed to last for generations.
