For Chairish the gallery presents a selection of works from the indigenous people from Brazil. The stools exhibited represent Indigenous peoples’ living reality in the Amazon biome within Brazil. These wooden sculptures, which often depict the forms of the Brazilian fauna, emphasize these peoples’ inextricable ties to their land and in effect, forests.
