Rochelle Sodipo is a visual artist, performance artist, and creative director. She utilizes digital and paper collage to celebrate and dissect the ritual and pageantry of the Black female experience in America. Inspired by the creative works of Lorna Simpson, Mickalene Thomas, and the writings and music of Nina Simone, Rochelle Sodipo constructs narratives that lay bare the sacred rites and feelings of the Black Woman.
