Howdy, folks! I’m Sara, founder and refinisher at Pop Salvage Designs in Bethesda, Maryland.
My passion lies in sourcing quality antique and vintage pieces and redesigning them for stylish homes in the DMV (that’s DC, Maryland, and Virginia ). While I began in 2018 primarily with painting, about half of my work these days involves restoration. I’ve come to appreciate homes that feel lived-in and layered with character and imperfection, blending the old with the new. Fortunately, my clients seem to agree, embracing both the smooth, modern finishes of my painted pieces and the authenticity of worn, weathered primitives.
