Digs studio makes the old new again by creating contemporary, one-of-a-kind enamels and artwork using traditional methods.
It Started with enamels - our goal was to renew the craft, updating and elevating enamels by putting a spin on tradition. Each piece is hand-formed from copper and layers of enamels, applied and kilnfired. The results are tactile, pieces that reflect the natural beauty of the materials.
The studio expanded into abstract color studies. Working with layer upon layer of acrylic paint creating expressions of how we experience the world at one given moment...it’s like I take in a day in our lives and leave those impressions through colorful marks on paper and canvases.
Lastly, Embossed paper.
Plain and simple, paper is beautiful. Our embossed pieces range from lovely statements and words create in Morse Code ( yes...morse code, so it is truly a secret message) or beautiful abstract shapes inspired by beach stones. These are lovely white on white pieces.
