Art making has been my life long experience. In 2nd grade my art was stolen from a display case in front of the principals office. I had my first commission from my Jr. High school librarian, who picked me up in a Limousine to make a drawing of her home. All the awards, grants, scholarships through the years have helped me refine my skills. I always consider the why, with what material and to what end I am working. Art making is a 100% focus, 500% letting go of
“educated mind” to get to the essence or the distilled substance that makes it into this thing we call art.
