Born in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I developed a love of nature and a penchant for verdant hues. Years spent in Monterey California introduced me to plein-air painting and a coastal palette. An interest in figural and impressionist art was developed while living in Europe. I haven’t settled on a favorite style, I still love them all - landscape, seascape, nature (birds are a favorite), impressionist, abstract, and figural art all rotate through my focus.
