In my paintings I strive to interpret natural elements in a contemporary, organic, and hand-wrought way. I like to think of each piece as a personal meditation of color, texture, and balance.
I currently live in Austin, TX where the desert landscape influences my color choices. Elements and experiences from my previous homes in upstate NY, the redwoods of California, the fields of Sonoma, and the rice fields of Bali, all work their way in to shape my inspiration, point of view, and knowledge of the importance of keeping nature in our lives in this ever-modern world.
