Maureen Stevens Design was founded in late 2013. Stevens’ design business is based in New Orleans, however, she splits her time between New Orleans and Austin. Her designs can be found in homes throughout the country and are featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Associated Press, House Beautiful, HGTV Magazine and more.
Maureen's first project after relocating to New Orleans was featured in New Orleans Homes & Lifestyle Magazine. Stevens took a young couple’s Uptown cottage from house to home with color, approachable design, and details that represent their lives.
Stevens was recently named the Grand Prize winner of the 2020 Vishion Design Award. The Vishion Design award celebrates the work of extraordinary Interior Designers and the palettes they create. Vishion's Founder and CEO, Samantha Smith was quoted saying "Maureen exemplifies complexity in design and creativity."
Austin Monthly Home describes her as having "a portfolio that rivals those of some seasoned professionals." Culture Map named her Austin's Top 5 Interior Designers to watch & she has won consecutive Houzz awards in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.

I focus mainly on mid to high-end residential design although open to small, commercial projects. I also offer E-design for clients located in other states or internationally.
