A common story among us interior designers... I started when I was growing up by rearranging my room, having supportive parents who let me pick my bedroom "schemes", and allowing my young, creative vision to fly despite the sometimes messy results.

Luckily, after studying history and art at Denison University, followed by a stint in commercial real estate research, I answered the call and got my degree, with honors, in interior design from Harrington College of Design.

I established Maren Baker Design in 2010, and have been challenged and inspired by the variety of projects I have helped make a reality since then. Working in the wonderful Chicago market until 2016, my family and I made the life-changing decision to relocate to Boise Idaho. Currently based in Boise, I welcome projects both locally and nationwide.
