Since 2013 La Maison Moderne (formerly known as Kunstbureau Jens Buettner) has presented furniture, lighting, decorative objects, and curiosities from the 17th to the 20th century creating a dialogue between the past and the presence.

La Maison Moderne Fine Art, founded by Jens Buettner in 2008 in Paris as Kunstbureau Gallery, is the fine art component, representing an international group of established and emerging artists each with a singular artistic vision to create a new visual vocabulary.

La Maison Moderne is located in Connecticut, we look forward to your visit.

Jens Buettner, originally from Germany, has been working as a photographer in the fashion and advertising industry for international clients for over 25 years.
In 2008 Buettner opened Kunstbureau Gallery in Paris, specializing in emerging fine art photography.
Living in Paris for 27 years he has fallen in love with antiques and modern design. Shortly after moving to New York in 2012, Buettner began to shift his focus and started to collect furniture and decorative objects. In 2013 he opened Kunstbureau Collection.
Lately, the company has been rebranded into La Maison Moderne.
