Native Floridian Jackie Friend is an architectural and interior designer who combines her distinctive design skills and expertise to transform existing, historic and new construction into tastefully luxurious homes with a timeless elegance. Distinguished for her classically modern design aesthetic of both interior and exterior spaces, Jackie’s vision is greatly inspired by Florida’s unique architectural history and infused with current design trends. Jackie believes the key to creating lasting design that reflects your lifestyle and personality begins with working with a professional you are completely at ease with. In fact, the process of designing her client’s homes has not only led to repeat clients, but lasting friendships. Her recognizable “classically modern” design sensibility helped establish her reputation in the community in which she lives and works. Neighbors who have watched her transform both her clients and her own properties have added to her success. Not only does Jackie coordinate all aspects of design, but her extensive understanding of construction and project management allows her to see a project from start to finish. Jackie has both a Bachelor’s of Design and Master of Architecture from the University of Florida, as well as a Master of Education from Barry University. Her architectural training includes travel and study abroad ranging from an extensive study of Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio to graduate research at the Architectural Association in London. Her interest in architectural pedagogy led to the national publication of her Master’s Thesis project and her additional Master’s Degree specializing in Montessori Education. Jackie lives in Hollywood, Florida.
